Scott and Anna's Beaufort Wedding
Tucked along the South Carolina coast, Beaufort is one of the Lowcountry’s best-kept secrets—a place where time slows down, the moss-draped oaks whisper stories of the past, and the waterfront views make you feel like you’ve stepped into a painting. While Charleston often steals the spotlight, Beaufort offers an intimate, historic charm that makes it an unforgettable setting for a wedding! With its quiet marshlands and historic houses, it’s the kind of place where love stories feel right at home. But you can go ahead and forget I mentioned it. We like our little secret ;)
This next chapter of Scott & Anna’s next chapter of forever began in the heart of downtown Beaufort at First African Baptist Church, one of the city’s most historic and charming landmarks. With its stunning architecture, rich history, and warm, welcoming atmosphere, it was the perfect place for their vows—a backdrop that feels just as special as the day itself!
Inside the church the sun filtered in beautifully.
The reception at the Maritime Center added an extra touch of charm. Nestled along the waterfront, the Maritime Center provided a breathtaking backdrop with panoramic views of the water, creating the perfect setting for a Lowcountry celebration. Though the evening was chilly, the venue was enclosed with canvas walls and heaters, ensuring everyone stayed comfortable while still enjoying the beauty of the waterfront.
The venue's open-air feel allowed for an intimate yet spacious reception, seamlessly blending elegance with the natural beauty of Beaufort. With its stunning sunset views and nautical charm, the Maritime Center proved to be the ideal place to celebrate a love story in the heart of the Lowcountry.
